The Silver Reunion of the 1999 Alumni of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU) was successfully held. This event was not only attended by 99 Alumni from various professions and regions but also attended by the former Dean of FH USU, Prof. Dr. Rehngena Purba, S.H., M.S., Dean of the Faculty of Law USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum. , Vice Dean II, Puspa Melati Hasibuan, S.H., M.Hum., as well as the Chairperson of the Central Management of the FH USU Alumni Family Association, Hasrul Benny Harahap, S.H., M.Hum.
Dean of FH USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum. in his remarks, said, “The silver reunion shows that 25 years we have been friends, in touch, interacting with each other, this is a tremendous strength, a very valuable momentum we can gather together, maybe we are no longer complete but most of us today meet each other and reminisce with each other, of course we pray that our friendship and brotherhood will last and be maintained and of course we hope to have a positive impact both on us and of course our alma mater, FH USU,” said the Dean.
The silver reunion, which took place at LePolonia Hotel and Convention Mendan, is evidence that the spirit of brotherhood and kinship is still firmly embedded among the 1999 Faculty of Law alumni and their alma mater. Various engaging activities were organized to enliven the 1999 Alumni Silver Reunion, including awarding awards to senior lecturers.
