The Faculty of Law USU established cooperation with Faizal Hafied & Partners (FHP) Law School and Mediation Indonesia, which was marked by the signing of a cooperation agreement that took place in the meeting room of the Dean of the Faculty of Law USU. The cooperation agreement was signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Law of USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum. and President of FHP Law School, Dr. Faizal Hafied, S.H., M.Hum and President of FHP Mediation Indonesia, Satria Utama, S.H. The event was also attended by Vice Dean I, Dr. Agusmidah, S.H, M.Hum. , Vice Dean II, Puspa Melati Hasibuan, S.H, M.Hum. , Vice Dean III, Dr. Mohammad Ekaputra, S.H., M.Hum, Chairperson and Secretary of the Bachelor of Law Study Program, Dr. Yefrizawati, S.H., M.Hum. and Dr. Affila, S.H., M.Hum, as well as Public Relations Faculty of Law USU, Boy Laksamana, S.H., M.Hum.

 

The scope of this cooperation agreement is the provision of Advocate Professional Special Education (PKPA) scholarships for USU Faculty of Law students and mediator training for USU Faculty of Law lecturers. This cooperation is in the context of developing legal science and increasing the capacity of USU Faculty of Law graduates who wish to become advocates and legal consultants at the national level. Besides that, cooperation in training and certification of non-judge certified mediators for USU Faculty of Law lecturers can support the MBKM program, especially in relation to lecturers doing activities outside the campus.
