Public Relations FH-USU: On Thursday (03/11/2022), the Faculty of Law at USU, in collaboration with Harbour Energy Indonesia and the Special Task Force for the Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK MIGAS), organized a seminar on the Legal Role in Boosting Investments in the Upstream Oil and Gas Sector and National Energy Security. The hybrid seminar took place at the Fakultas Hukum USU Mock Trial Building and featured speakers such as Didik Sasono Setyadi (Head of Legal Division at SKK Migas), Sampe L. Purba (Expert Staff to the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources), Ali Nasir (Vice President Legal Commercial and Planning at Harbour Energy Indonesia), and Dr. Detania Sukarja (Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, USU).
The seminar, from the presentation sessions by the speakers to the Q&A and discussions, was moderated by Siti Khairunnisa, SH., M.Hum. Various topics were covered, including the Legal Role in Boosting Investments in the Upstream Oil and Gas Sector and National Energy Security presented by Didik Sasono Setyadi, Management of Oil and Gas in the Context of National Energy Security presented by Sampe L Purba, and Legal Certainty of Investments in the Upstream Oil and Gas Sector: Some Important Notes presented by Dr. Detania Sukarja. Active participants in the seminar included students from undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs in Law at the Universitas Sumatera Utara
