The Directorate of Law and Regulation, Ministry of National Development Planning / National Development Planning Agency (PPN / BAPPENAS), and the Constitutional Forum, in collaboration with the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU) held a National Seminar entitled “Increasing Understanding of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and Efforts to Enforce it”, at Four Points by Sheraton, Medan.
This national seminar is part of an effort to increase understanding of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and its enforcement efforts. It aims to facilitate the younger generation's increasing understanding and belief in the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia to maintain the implementation of a constitutional, democratic, and law-based state life based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia.
The national seminar was opened by the Dean of FH USU represented by Vice Dean III, Dr. Mohammad Ekaputra, SH, M.Hum, also attended by the Chairman of the Constitutional Forum, Andi Mattalatta, SH, M.Hum who delivered the Keynote Speech, Director of Law and Regulation, Ministry of PPN / BAPPENAS, represented by Principal Expert Planner, Arif Christiono Soebroto, SH, M.Si. In discussing the theme of the seminar, the speakers were Constitutional Law Lecturer of FH USU, Yusrin, SH, M.Hum, and members of the Constitutional Forum, Seto Harianto, Dr. Baharuddin Aritonang, and Dr. Ali Masykur Musa, M.Si, M.Hum. Dr. Afnila, SH, M.Hum hosted the seminar session.
