Alumni of the Faculty of Law USU (FH USU) held the 1989 Alumni Grand Reunion, an event that is not only a gathering event but also reflects the Alumni's commitment in supporting the development of the alma mater. 1989 Alumni from various regions attended the activity, which Vice Chancellor I, Dr. Edy Ikhsan, S.H., M.A also attended. This took place at the FH USU Pendopo.
The Dean of FH USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum in his speech emphasized the importance of Alumni's contribution in supporting the improvement of the quality of education in the faculty, one of the contributions of the 1989 Alumni is the renovation of the main courtroom of FH USU Moot Court. The renovated FH USU Moot Court main courtroom has become a more representative and modern facility to support the implementation of various academic activities, said the Dean. FH USU has been known as one of the institutions that often wins national-level moot court competitions. The Dean hopes this new facility will further motivate students to excel.
The Chairperson of the Great Reunion Committee, Junita Sari Ujung, S.H., M.Kn, explained that preparing this grand reunion requires intensive coordination. The committee chairman also said that the reunion event was attended by senior lecturers who had taught the alumni during college to create a warm and memorable atmosphere. “The reunion is not just a nostalgic event but also a form of Alumni commitment in positively impacting the alma mater and the next generation, " said Junita Sari Ujung, S.H., M.Kn.
