Located in the Faculty Advisory Council (DPF) Room of the USU Faculty of Law, the Public Relations Bureau of the Corruption Eradication Commission of the Republic of Indonesia (KPK-RI), in collaboration with the Faculty of Law of the University of North Sumatra (FH-USU) held a National Anti-Corruption Seminar on the KPK Integrity Journal with the theme Asset Tracking.

 

The seminar was held to Socialize the Research Proposal Competition Activities by the KPK-RI Public Relations Bureau. The activity was opened directly by the Dean of the USU Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Budiman Ginting, SH., M.Hum, accompanied by the Head of the Public Information and Communication Services Division, Yayuk Andriati Iskak. The speakers for the seminar consisted of a Professor of Economic Law at the USU Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Bismar Nasution, SH., M.Hum, Public Prosecutor of the KPK-RI, Abdul Basir, Editor of the KPK-RI Accreditation Journal, Ferry Ansari. The Vice Dean I of FH-USU, Prof. Dr. Saidin, SH., M.Hum, moderated the seminar.

 

The purpose of the seminar is to promote the Research Competition activities held to find quality anti-corruption research and study results so that a form of network of writers/lecturers/researchers from academic circles will be built and can strengthen the anti-corruption network between the KPK-RI and groups of scholars in universities through collaboration in the seminar implementation stage. The participants in this seminar activity were lecturers from USU and private universities in Medan, postgraduate students, and anti-corruption activists.
