The Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), held a Problem-Based Learning Teaching Method Workshop. The workshop had two sessions: the first took place in the Academic Senate room on the 2nd floor of the USU Academic Bureau, and the second took place in the Faculty Advisory Council (DPF) FH USU room.
This training activity involved Lecturers and Students of the Faculty of Law USU by presenting resource person Dr. Sascha Hardt, Lecturer at the Faculty of Law Masstricht University, the Netherlands, the training took place guided by Dr. Rosmalinda, SH, LLM who acted as moderator.
Dean of the Faculty of Law USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH, M.Hum, in his speech as well as opening the event, said that this training was held as a form of realization of one of the cooperation commitments between the Faculty of Law USU and the Faculty of Law Maastricht University, the Netherlands. Vice Dean I FH USU, Dr. Agusmidah, SH, M.Hum, explained that this training explained how teaching using problem-based learning is commonly applied at the Faculty of Law Maastricht University, the Netherlands. The hope is that FH USU can apply problem-based learning accordingly and not based on mere opinion, said Vice Dean I FH USU.
