Monday (30/08/2021), the Dean of the Faculty of Law of Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH-USU), Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum, attended the opening ceremony of the Technical Guidance (BINTEK) on International Maritime Law for the 2021 Academic Year at the Main Command Headquarters of the Indonesian Navy Base I (LANTAMAL I) in Belawan. This BINTEK activity, held from August 30 to September 3, 2021, is a collaboration between the Faculty of Law and the Legal Service of LANTAMAL I/Belawan.

FH-USU PR: Monday (30/08/2021), the Dean of the Faculty of Law of Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH-USU), Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum, attended the opening ceremony of the Technical Guidance (BINTEK) on International Maritime Law for the 2021 Academic Year at the Main Command Headquarters of the Indonesian Navy Base I (LANTAMAL I) in Belawan. This BINTEK activity, held from August 30 to September 3, 2021, is a collaboration between the Faculty of Law and the Legal Service of LANTAMAL I/Belawan.

The BINTEK program was opened by the Head of the Legal Service (KADISKUM) of LANTAMAL I, First Admiral Leonard Marpaung, S.H., M.H., and was also attended by the Commander of LANTAMAL I, represented by the Deputy Commander of LANTAMAL I, Colonel Marine Amir Kasman. In his opening remarks, First Admiral Leonard Marpaung highlighted that the collaboration with FH-USU was based on the university’s strong credibility in education and the development of maritime law. Previously, the Legal Service of LANTAMAL I had engaged in multiple collaborative activities with FH-USU. The Dean of FH-USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum, expressed his hope that this collaboration would continue successfully and extend to other activities, including maritime studies, research, and more.

The BINTEK on International Maritime Law for the 2021 Academic Year featured lectures by Professors and Lecturers from FH-USU, including Prof. Dr. Suhaidi, S.H., M.Hum, Prof. Dr. Ningrum Natasya Sirait, S.H., M.Li, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum, Dr. Sutiarnoto, S.H., M.Hum, Dr. Jelly Leviza, S.H., M.Hum, Dr. Rosmalinda, S.H., LL.M, Dr. Vita Cita Tarigan, S.H., LL.M, Riadhi Alhayyan, S.H., M.H, Fajar Khaify Rizky, S.H., M.H, and Siti Khairunnisa, S.H., M.Hum.
