The Dean of the Faculty of Law USU had the opportunity to hold a meeting with the Alumni of the Faculty of Law USU who live in DKI Jakarta and surrounding areas. The meeting, which took place at Penang Bistro, Pacific Palace, Jakarta, aims to build a better communication system between the Faculty of Law USU and its alumni who are scattered in various regions with various professions, as well as to strengthen communication with the USU Faculty of Law Alumni Association (IKA) in various areas as an effort to optimize communication with alumni and strengthen the role of alumni in various faculty programs, and of course through this meeting can produce alumni data collection as well as their profession so that it can be utilized in different academic activities to support the improvement of the competence of USU Faculty of Law students.
The Dean of the Faculty of Law USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH, M.Hum, accompanied by Vice Dean I, Dr. Agusmidah, SH, M.Hum. , Vice Dean III, Dr. M. Ekaputra, SH, M.Hum. , Head of Undergraduate Study Program, Dr. Yefrizawati, SH, M.Hum., and Secretary of the Undergraduate Study Program, Dr. Affila, SH, M.Hum. attended this meeting.
In this meeting, the Dean explained several things, including the development of the Faculty of Law USU and several achievements of the Faculty of Law USU, as well as the priority program plans of the Faculty of Law USU in A.Y. 2023 and A.Y. 2024. The Dean explained the role of alumni in the future development of the Faculty of Law USU. For this explanation, the Dean asked alumni for input on various Faculty development programs, especially those related to Alumni involvement. Towards the explanation from the Dean, the Alumni provided feedback and criticism of the policies and implementation of the USU Faculty of Law work program, provided support for various efforts to develop the Faculty, and were willing to be involved in various Faculty activities; the Alumni also suggested that coordination and communication could be carried out regularly and regularly between the alumni and the Faculty.
The USU Faculty of Law Alumni who attended this meeting included Dr. Manahan M. P. Sitompul, S.H., M. Hum (Judge of the Indonesian Constitutional Court), Dr. Bernard Nainggolan, S.H., M.H, (Advocate), Dr. Ricardo Simanjuntak, S.H., LL.M (Advocate), Muhammad Joni, S.H., M.H, (Advocate), Zulchaina Z. Tanamas, S.H, (Advocate), Dedy Kurniadi, S.H., M.H (Advocate), Dr. Muhammad Yasin, S.H., M.H (Online Law), Dr. Iwan Ginting, S.H., M.H (Kajari Jakarta Barat), Jannes Silitonga, S.H., MH (Advocate), Yudha, SH, MH (Kemenkumham RI), Dr. Mayaduti Pertiwi, SH, MH (Advocate), and other alumni in various professions such as prosecutors, judges, advocates and bureaucrats.
