The Legal Consultation and Assistance Institute (LKBH) of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara, held a public webinar titled “Legal Opinion Making Training” through the Zoom online meeting media. This webinar series will be held with other follow-up webinars entitled Making Legal Memoranda and Legal Audits. Attended by 466 participants, this webinar event successfully received many positive responses from the participants who attended. The training webinar for making legal opinions was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Law of USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum; in the training session presented 2 (two) resource persons, Hasrul Benny Harahap, S.H., M.Hum and Dr. Detania Sukarja, S.H., LLM., who was guided by Cheryl Patriana Yuswar, S.H., LL.M. who acted as moderator.
In their presentation, the speakers explained general materials about legal opinion and closed with an exercise session to make a legal opinion. The participants, consisting of active undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students, followed the speakers' explanation and even remained in the Zoom room until the end of the event.
LKBH FH USU organized this webinar activity to provide education to graduates or prospective graduates of the USU Faculty of Law so that they can master the basic skills of making legal documents such as legal opinions, legal memoranda, and legal audits. With this training webinar, it is hoped that Faculty of Law USU graduates can become qualified legal scholars in legal theory and practice. (Laks/Sad/Sug)
