This program involved the local government, the head of the village, local people, and students from Jindal Global University, India. It was supported by Hasrul Benny Harahap, SH., M. Hum, who is head of the Alumni of Law Faculty USU Association.

Public Relation FH USU : Tuesday  (13/06/2023), Law Faculty Of USU and  Jindal Global University, India was held  International Service Collaboration in Desa Tanjung Rejo, Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan, Kabupaten Deli Serdang. The community service will have the theme of revenue improvement of tourist villages in coastal areas through carbon trading. This program involved the local government, head village, local people, and Jindal Global University, India students. Supported by  Hasrul Benny Harahap, SH., M.Hum, head of the Alumni of Law faculty USU Association. 

 

One of the learning materials that has been implemented in community service is  Increasing the local people's income from Tourism Village in Coastal Areas through Carbon Trading was delivered by Prof. Akmal Handi Ansari (Jindal Global University, India), Dr. Vita Cita Emia Tarigan, SH., LLM (Faculty of Law USU), Dr. Mohammad Ekaputra, SH., M.Hum (Faculty of Law USU), Dr. Agus Purwoko, S.Hut., M.SI (Lecturer at the Faculty of Forestry USU).  After presenting the material, this activity continued with planting 100 mangrove trees on the coast of Tanjung Rejo Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency. Dean of the Faculty of Law USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH., M.Hum, said, "Community service activities on Increasing local people in Tourism Village Coastal Areas through Carbon Trading and planting 100 mangrove trees aim common perceptions in saving the environment while increasing the income of rural communities in coastal areas".
