The Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara, officially launched the International E-Journal, USU Journal Of Legal Studies (UJLS) on Thursday, June 8, 2017, at the Faculty Advisory Council (DPF) room. The first edition of the USU Journal of Legal Studies (UJLS) was inaugurated by the Rector of the Universitas Sumatera Utara, Prof. Dr. Runtung, SH., M.Hum. It was also commemorated as the birthday of UJLS, USU Faculty of Law.
Present at the UJLS launch event, Dean of the USU Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Budiman Ginting, SH., M.Hum, Vice Dean II, Puspa Melati Hasibuan, SH., M.Hum, Vice Dean III, Dr. Jelly Leviza, SH., M.Hum, Editor in Chief of UJLS, Dr. OK Saidin, SH., M.Hum, Managing Editor of UJLS, Dr. Edy Ikhsan, SH., MA, Lecturers and authors of the first edition of UJLS.
The launch of UJLS was marked by the procession of cutting the tumpeng and the symbolic handover of the printed copy of the first edition of UJLS by the USU Rector to three authors: Prof. Dr. Budiman Ginting, SH., M.Hum, with Dr. Agusmidah, SH., M.Hum, Dr. Rosnidar Sembiring, SH., M.Hum, and Dr. Mahmud Mulyadi, SH., M.Hum.
