PUBLIC RELATIONS FH-USU: Saturday (20/08/2022), Located at Universitas Sumatrea Utara (USU) Student Arena, the Inauguration of the Alumni Association (IKA) of the USU Faculty of Law took place, for the 2022-2026 period. In the inauguration, Hasrul Benny Harahap, SH., M.Hum. was acclamationally elected as chairman of the USU Faculty of Law Alumni Association (IKA FH-USU) for the 2022-2026 period. In his remarks, the Chairman of IKA FH-USU, Hasrul Benny Harahap, SH., M.Hum said that together with other management, they will synergize to build a solid organization and remain united and compact in carrying out organizational work programs that are beneficial to members, uniting alumni spread throughout the country by collecting member data. The Chairman of IKA FH-USU said that he would synergize with the organizers of USU Universities and with the blessing of the Rector of USU, he would establish an international standard IKA FH-USU secretariat building.

The inauguration was marked by the pronouncement of the oath and promise of the management and the handover of the pataka flag from the Chairman of the IKA USU Center, Father H.R. Muhammad Syafi'i to the Chairman of IKA FH-USU, Hasrul Benny Harahap, SH., M.Hum. The chairman of the IKA USU Central Board appreciated the alumni of the USU Faculty of Law who remained solid and believed that all management programs under the leadership of Hasrul Benny Harahap, SH., M.Hum could be carried out properly. In this inauguration ceremony, the Chairman of IKA FH-USU had the opportunity to pin the IKA FH-USU jacket to the Rector of USU, Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si.

Dean of the USU Faculty of Law, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH., M.Hum in his opening remarks hoped that the work program that would be compiled and implemented by IKA FH USU could synergize with the program planned by FH USU. Thus, there will be a mutually reinforcing and mutually interrelated relationship between the extended family of FH USU. The Dean said that currently, several alumni of FH USU both individually and institutionally through these / institutions they lead have synergized with FH USU, for example, several heads of the District Court, District Attorney's Office, Advocates' Settlement, Notary Association / PPAT, Association of Indonesian Administrators and Curators, and several local governments and pub bodies. other links. Various collaborations have been realized such as kajian cooperation, scientific activities (seminars, workshops, workshops, FGDs, training, etc.), professional lecturers, and cooperation in supporting Merdeka Belajar and Kampus Merdeka programs.
