Public Relations FH USU: Thursday (26/06/2025)

The Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU) visited PT. Toba Pulp Lestari (PT. TPL) to improve the implementation of cooperation with the Business World and Industry World (DUDI). During this visit, the Dean of FH USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum, who was accompanied by the Vice Dean III, Dr. Mohammad Ekaputra, S.H., M.Hum, and the Dean's Expert Staff for Academic Affairs, Yusrin, S.H., M.Hum, were received directly by the SHR Manager of PT. TPL, Norma Patty Nandini Hutajulu along with the management of PT. TPL.

Dean of FH USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum during his visit explained that one of the priority programs of the USU Rector is to establish better relations with partners because one part of the higher education ecosystem currently being developed by USU is the development of cooperation with the ABGC (Academic, Business, Government, and Community) model. "There are several things that we need to develop where universities are no longer ivory towers but must come down to bring stakeholders into the campus to interact, synergize and exchange information, including identifying relevant industrial needs so that the campus can respond to various problems that exist in the industrial world," said the Dean of FH USU.

Manager SHR PT. TPL, Norma Patty Nandini Hutajulu said "Toba Pulp Lestari is committed to openness in the company's governance and operations to academics and to working together to improve the implementation of government cooperation related to research and community service in the country and partnership activities for industry. "Through this visit from FH USU, hopefully, there will be harmonious cooperation between practitioners and academics for sustainable operational activities," said SHR Manager PT. TPL.
