Economic Law Students (IMAHMI) Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU) held a Welcoming Party IMAHMI FH USU, held at the Moot Court FH USU. This activity is in order to welcome 6th semester students who have just taken the concentration of Economic Law

Public Relation FH-USU: Tuesday (20/02/2024), Economic Law Students (IMAHMI) Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU) held a Welcoming Party IMAHMI FH USU, held at the Moot Court FH USU. This activity is in order to welcome 6th semester students who have just taken the concentration of Economic Law.

 

The event was opened by the Dean of FH USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum then continued with a video performance by several IMAHMI alumni as a form of welcoming and motivating 6th semester students who had just taken the concentration of Economic Law. Furthermore, remarks were given by the Chairman of IMAHMI FH USU for the 2023/2024 period Ari Ghazy Putra Asto.

 

 

The core of this event was a seminar entitled: "Risk Management in Paylater: Ensuring Financial Stability Within Gen Z" presented by Dr. Detania Sukarja, S.H., LLM. (Lecturer FH USU) and Mr. Doli Muhammad Jafar Dalimunthe, S.E., M.Si. (Lecturer FEB USU). Broadly speaking, the material presented aims to educate students as well as understanding Gen Z regarding the Paylater system which is currently in great demand as a transaction system. Students who attend are expected to be more 'literate' regarding this Paylater system because the main target of the implementation of this system is Gen Z. It is also hoped that after the presentation of this material, students will be able to control their impulsive buying attitude and be careful in making transactions.

 

As a closing event, the Chairperson of IMAHMI FH USU Period 2023/2024 continued the discussion by socializing the AD / ART and introducing divisions in IMAHMI, as well as inviting students of class 2021 to participate in the next IMAHMI management for the realization of solidarity and increasing student competence both in academic and non-academic terms.
