The Alumni Association of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (IKA FH USU), in collaboration with the Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia (KEJAGUNG RI), organized the “KEJAGUNG RI Goes To USU” activity. The event, which took place in the Faculty Advisory Council (DPF) room of FH USU and was also held hybridly through the Zoom meeting application, was attended by the Chairperson of IKA FH USU, Hasrul Benny Harahap, SH., M.Hum, Dean of FH USU represented by Vice Dean II, Puspa Melati Hasibuan, SH., M.Hum, and from KEJAGUNG RI there was a Young Attorney, Fadli Alfarisi, S.H., M.H, who is also an alumnus of FH USU.
In his speech, Hasrul Benny Harahap, Chairman of IKA FH USU, SH, M.Hum, said that this activity was a socialization event from the Attorney General's Office in the framework of the opening of CPNS on September 16. Hasrul Benny explained, “Our desire today is that students are given socialization on entering and following the career path at the Attorney General's Office. Alumni are very grateful if this collaboration is sustainable.”
Vice Dean II Puspa Melati Hasibuan, SH., M. Hum, in her remarks and opening the event, said, “Superior human resources and integrity allow national law to work well. For this reason, we give our highest appreciation to KEJAGUNG RI, who came directly to the USU Faculty of Law to socialize career opportunities at the Prosecutor's Office.”
Young Attorney Fadli Alfarisi, S.H., M.H., in his presentation opportunity, shared data on the level of public trust in the government, where the Prosecutor's Office was in the first position with a score of 81.2%. “With such great achievements that produce results, namely trust in the Prosecutor's Office is the highest number ever obtained, where 81.2% is superior among other law enforcers, especially the KPK, which hopefully we can maintain this figure,” explained the Junior Attorney, Fadli Alfarisi, S.H., M.H.
