FH-USU PR: On Saturday (June 24, 2023), the Grand Reunion and Meeting of the Alumni Association of the Master's Program in Notarial Law (IKA MKN) of the Faculty of Law of Universitas Sumatera Utara took place at Hotel Emerald Garden, Medan. The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Law of Universitas Sumatera Utara, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum., the Head of the Master's Program in Notarial Law of the Faculty of Law of Universitas Sumatera Utara, Prof. Dr. Hasim Purba, S.H., M.Hum., along with the Secretary, Prof. Dr. Rosnidar Sembiring, S.H., M.Hum., the Chairman of the Alumni Association of the Faculty of Law of Universitas Sumatera Utara, Hasrul Benny Harahap, S.H., M.Hum., the Chairman of the Indonesian Notary Association (INI) of North Sumatra, H. Ikhsan Lubis, S.H., Sp.N., M.Kn., the Chairman of the Regional Management Board of IPPAT North Sumatra, Dr. Ferry Susanto Limbong, and the Chairman of the Regional Executive Board of INI North Sumatra, Dr. Suprayitno, S.H., M.Kn.
The Dean of the Faculty of Law of Universitas Sumatera Utara, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum., in his speech, expressed his hope that the alumni of the Master’s Program in Notarial Law of the Faculty of Law of Universitas Sumatera Utara would remain united and be able to collaborate effectively with the Notarial Law Study Program as well as the Faculty of Law of Universitas Sumatera Utara. Following the opening and grand reunion event, the program continued with the election of the Chairman of the Alumni Association of the Master's Program in Notarial Law (IKA MKN) of the Faculty of Law of Universitas Sumatera Utara for the 2023-2027 period. The Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Ahmad Juliadi, stated that initially, there were seven candidates, which were later narrowed down to two finalists: Kiki Handoko Sembiring and Fina Nazran. The election was conducted through deliberation and consensus, resulting in Kiki Handoko Sembiring being elected as the Chairman of the Alumni Association of the Master’s Program in Notarial Law (IKA MKN) of the Faculty of Law of Universitas Sumatera Utara for the 2023-2027 period.
