Public Relations FH-USU: Thursday (09/03/2023), at the Faculty Advisory Council (DPF) room of the Faculty of Law USU, a focus group discussion (FGD) on the preparation of a policy paper “Evaluation of the Filling, Appointment, Development and Dismissal of Ad Hoc Judges in the Scope of the Supreme Court and the Judicial Bodies Under it” took place. This activity was held in collaboration with the Center for Research and Development (PUSLITBANG) of Law and Justice of the Supreme Court of Indonesia with the Faculty of Law of USU.
In the focused discussion, PUSLITBANG Hukum dan Peradilan Mahkamah Agung RI presented the Supreme Court RI Legal and Judicial Policy Drafting Team, consisting of BRIN Research Coordinator, Agus Suntoro, SH, MH, BRIN Legal Research Center Researcher, Dr. Budi Suhariyanto, SH, MH, Special Staff of His Excellency the Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme Court for Judicial Affairs, Nur Ihsan Suhabuddin, SH, M.Hum, Ad Hoc Judge of the Makassar District Court, Siti Noor Laila, SH, MH. While the USU Faculty of Law presented a speaker Dr. Faisal Akbar, SH, M.Hum with the title of the paper “Review of Ad Hoc Judges in Theory and Practice, Comparisons in Several Countries, and Regulatory Analysis of Legislation in Indonesia governing Ad Hoc Judges, as well as Proposed Recommendations”. The focused discussion was moderated by Yusrin, SH, M.Hum and attended by Lecturers of Constitutional Law and State Administration Law of the Faculty of Law, USU.
