HUMAS FH-USU: The Master's Program in Notary (MKn) at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), held a Campus Life Orientation Program (Pengenalan Kehidupan Kampus Mahasiswa Baru/PKKMB) for the 2026 cohort of new students on Friday, August 14, 2026. Held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. WIB, the activity marked an important first step for new students in becoming acquainted with the academic environment, academic community, and campus life at FH USU.

The event began with participant registration, an opening session, the singing of the Indonesian national anthem, Indonesia Raya, and a prayer. This was followed by remarks from the Head of the Master's Program in Notary, Dr. Idha Aprilyana Sembiring, S.H., M.Hum., who also introduced the campus and academic environment to the new students.

Dean of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum., also delivered remarks to welcome the new students. The main session was moderated by Riadhi Al Hayyan, S.H., M.H. The session provided students with an opportunity to gain information and insights while engaging directly in an academic setting.

The PKKMB concluded with the presentation of a token of appreciation from the Master's Program in Notary to the speaker, followed by closing remarks from the master of ceremonies.

The implementation of PKKMB is part of the Master's Program in Notary’s efforts to create an educational environment that supports students’ learning and capacity development. Campus orientation, interaction with university leaders and faculty members, as well as presentation and discussion sessions, provided an important foundation for new students as they begin their graduate-level studies.

The activity also supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, particularly by promoting quality education and providing a supportive learning environment for students.
