Dean of the Faculty of Law of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (Faculty of Law USU), Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH., M.Hum. accompanied by Vice Dean I, Dr. Agusmidah, SH., M.Hum. gave appreciation and a certificate of appreciation to the USU Faculty of Law Delegation Team Students who won 1st place in the Indonesian Law Debating Competition held by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia, November 8, 2021 - February 13, 2022, with the theme Significance of Economic Law in the Era of Society 5.0.
The USU Faculty of Law Delegation Team students who won first place in the Indonesian Law Debating Competition consisted of three students: Theophilus Tambunan (NIM.190200404), Martinus Demetrius Lature (NIM.210200688), and Kemi Suranta Tarigan (NIM.200200061). One of the delegation teams, on behalf of Kemi Suranta Tarigan, also won the title of Best Speaker in this competition.
The Indonesian Law Debating Competition, organized by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia, was attended by 16 teams from universities across Indonesia. The Faculty of Law delegation team, Universitas Tarumanegara, won second place.
