The Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), received a visit from the Polish Embassy in Jakarta, located in the Dean's meeting room of FH USU. Mr. Piotr Firlus, Charges d'Affair of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Jakarta, attended the visit, accompanied by staff of the Political Economy Specialist Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Jakarta, Lukas Tambunan.

Public Relations FH-USU: On Thursday (14/12/2023) 

The Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), received a visit from the Polish Embassy in Jakarta, located in the Dean's meeting room of FH USU. Mr. Piotr Firlus, Charges d'Affair of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Jakarta, attended the visit, accompanied by staff of the Political Economy Specialist Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Jakarta, Lukas Tambunan.

 

The visit was received directly by the Dean of FH USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH, M.Hum, accompanied by Deputy Dean II, Puspa Melati Hasibuan, SH, M.Hum, Deputy Dean III, Dr. Mohammad Ekaputra, SH,, M.Hum, Head of the Master of Kenotariatan Study Program, Prof. Dr. Hasim Purba, SH, M.Hum, Secretary of the Master of Law Study Program, Dr. Mahmud Mulyadi, SH, M.Hum, and Secretary of the Doctor of Law Study Program, Dr. T. Keizerina Devi Azwar, SH, CN, M.Hum, M.H.Kes.

The meeting during this visit discussed the preparation of cooperation in the field of education, one of which is student exchange between FH USU and the Faculty of Law at universities in Poland. In addition, FH USU also offers programs with great potential to collaborate with universities in Poland, including guest lectures, webinars, international mobility staff, summer courses, and joint research. In the early stages of cooperation, Mr. Piotr Firlus offered cooperation in the form of public lecture activities aimed at providing information on how to continue studying in Poland, such as how to get a scholarship, how to choose a suitable university, and how student life is in Poland.   It was agreed in this meeting that the realization of the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the USU and the Polish Embassy and the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between the USU Faculty of Law and the Polish Embassy is scheduled for March 2024.
