The Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU) receives a Benchmarking visit from the Faculty of Law Universitas Pembangunan Nasional (UPN) Veteran, Jakarta. This visit was to build cooperation and improve the management of law science study programs. FH UPN Veteran, Jakarta, conducted a comparative study to FH USU and a Cooperation Agreement related to Education, Research, Community Service, Technology, and Student Development to implement the Merdeka Belajar and Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Program.
The delegation of FH UPN Veteran, Jakarta, was led by the Dean of FH UPN Veteran, Dr. Suherman, SH, LLM, accompanied by Deputy Dean I, Dr. Beniharmoni Harefa, SH, LLM, and Professor of Criminal Law, Prof. Dr. Bambang Waluyo, SH, MH. The delegation of FH UPN Veteran was received directly by the Dean of FH USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH, M.Hum, accompanied by Vice Dean I, Dr. Agusmidah, SH, M.Hum.
During this visit, FH UPN Veteran, Jakarta also had the opportunity to conduct Visiting Professor activities at FH USU by presenting Prof. Dr. Bambang Waluyo, SH., MH, who gave a public lecture to FH USU Students, entitled “Policy Direction of Special Crimes After the Ratification of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code”.
