The Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), received a visit from the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Islam Riau (FH UIR). The academic visit conducted by BEM FH UIR was not only to conduct a comparative study of academic activities and student organizations but also in preparation for collaborative seminar activities between the Criminal Law Department Student Association (IMADANA), which will be held shortly.
The delegation was led by the Chairman of BEM FH UIR, Aditya Prayoga, accompanied by the Chairman of IMADANA FH UIR, Surya Nuruddinata, and Vice Chairman of IMADANA FH UIR, Tengku Al-Aqsha Lopi. Before the meeting, the group had the opportunity to tour various facilities in the FH USU environment. Accompanied by IMADANA FH USU students, the group visited several rooms for academic and non-academic activities of FH USU students, including the International Classroom, Podcast room, which is managed directly by a team of FH USU students, garden class, and FH USU Law Laboratory room.
In his speech, the Dean of FH USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH, M.Hum, explained several things, including the organizational structure of FH USU, academic policies, scientific journals managed by students, student creativity programs, BEM structures at both the university and faculty levels, and internal and external student organizations.
