Medan, July 21, 2026 – The Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU) welcomed a delegation from the Universitas Sumatera Utara Academic Senate (SA USU) as part of the 2026 Academic Monitoring and Evaluation program.

The delegation was led by Prof. Dr. Drs. Budi Agustono, M.S., Chair of the USU Academic Senate, and included Prof. Dr. Suryanto, M.Sc. and Prof. drg. Sondang Pintauli, Ph.D., FISDPH., FISPD., Chair and Secretary of Commission A; Prof. Ir. Nazaruddin, M.T., Chair of Commission B; Prof. Dr. Erman Munir, M.Sc., Chair of Commission C; and Prof. Ir. Nurlisa Ginting, M.Sc., Ph.D., Secretary of Commission D.

The delegation was received in the Faculty Advisory Council (DPF) Meeting Room by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum., accompanied by Dr. Zulfi Chairi, S.H., M.Hum., Vice Dean for Administration, Finance, Human Resources, and Academic Infrastructure; Dr. Mohammad Ekaputra, S.H., M.Hum., Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Internationalization; along with all Heads and Secretaries of the study programs within FH USU.

The visit was intended to support the faculty in strengthening its academic performance and achieving the targets outlined in the 2026 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Through this monitoring and evaluation process, both the Academic Senate and the Faculty of Law sought to reinforce their collaboration in formulating more effective strategies for academic development. The constructive discussions were expected to foster closer cooperation between the faculty and the Academic Senate in addressing the evolving challenges of higher education.

The visit also provided an opportunity for FH USU to receive valuable feedback and recommendations from the Academic Senate. Drawing on the expertise and experience of its members, the faculty is expected to identify areas for improvement and develop more focused action plans to enhance its academic performance.

The outcomes of this monitoring and evaluation visit are expected to serve as a positive starting point for the Faculty of Law's continuous efforts to improve the quality of education and academic services, ultimately producing highly qualified graduates who are well prepared to meet the demands of the professional world.
