FHUSU Public Relations: (September 16, 2026) The Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), through the Master's Program in Notary, held a meeting with the North Sumatra Regional Board of the Indonesian Notary Association (Pengwil Sumatera Utara INI), the North Sumatra Regional Board of the Association of Land Deed Officials (IPPAT) of North Sumatra, and the MKN Alumni Association (IKA Alumni MKN) to discuss plans for organizing a National Seminar.
The meeting served as a coordination forum and initial discussion regarding the planned seminar, which will be organized through collaboration between the Master's Program in Notary of FH USU, the North Sumatra Regional Board of INI, the North Sumatra Regional Board of IPPAT, and the MKN Alumni Association.
During the meeting, the parties discussed various matters related to the planned activity, including the seminar concept and theme, implementation format, and strengthening synergy among academic institutions, professional organizations, and alumni. This collaboration is expected to result in an academic activity that is relevant to developments in notarial law and professional needs.
The cooperation between the Master's Program in Notary of FH USU, the North Sumatra Regional Board of INI, the North Sumatra Regional Board of IPPAT, and the MKN Alumni Association is also part of efforts to strengthen institutional relations and academic-professional networks. Through this collaboration, the National Seminar is expected to serve as a forum for exchanging knowledge, ideas, and experiences among academics, practitioners, professional organizations, alumni, and other stakeholders.
FH USU continues to encourage stronger collaboration with professional organizations and alumni as part of the development of legal higher education that is adaptive to the dynamics and needs of legal practice in society.
