FH-USU Public Relations: Monday, 28 August 2025, to strengthen its commitment to the development of the Zone of Integrity Towards a Region Free from Corruption (WBK), the Faculty of Law of Universitas Samudra (FH Unsam) conducted a benchmarking activity at the Faculty of Law of Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU). The event was attended by structural officials and academic staff from both faculties.
In her welcoming speech, the Vice Dean II of the Faculty of Law USU, Puspa Melati Hasibuan, S.H., M.Hum. stated, “We warmly welcome the delegation from the Faculty of Law of Unsam. This benchmarking is a forum to share experiences in the development of the Zone of Integrity and an opportunity to strengthen collaboration between legal education institutions. At FH USU, we are ready to share good practices, challenges, and strategies in realizing the WBK, and we hope that FH Unsam can gain as much benefit as possible from this visit.”
Furthermore, the Vice Dean II of the Faculty of Law of Unsam, Dr. Liza Agnesta Krisna, S.H., M.H., expressed in her remarks, “We are very grateful for the warm welcome from FH USU. This benchmarking activity reflects the Faculty of Law of Unsam’s strong commitment to building the Zone of Integrity Towards a Region Free from Corruption. We hope that from this visit, we can learn a lot from FH USU’s experience in implementing various integrity-strengthening programs, service innovations, and gratuity control. We believe that we can all create a clean and service-oriented legal education environment with spirit and cooperation.”
The event continued with a presentation on the development of the Zone of Integrity at FH USU, an interactive discussion session, and a field visit to observe the direct implementation of change areas within FH USU. Through this activity, the Faculty of Law of Unsam is expected to soon apply the best practices obtained so that the WBK achievement target can be realized.
