FH USU PUBLIC RELATIONS: Tuesday (02/08/2025), the Master’s Program in Law at the Graduate School of Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram (UMMAT) organized an Expert Lecture held at the 4th Floor Hall of the Faculty of Health Sciences Building of UMMAT.
The expert lecture featured two speakers: Agusmidah, SH., MH. (Chairperson of Perkumpulan Pusat Pengkajian Hukum Ketenagakerjaan Indonesia and Lecturer at the Faculty of Law of Universitas Sumatera Utara) with the topic “Labor Law Politics in the Era of Economic Disruption,” and Fithriatus Shalihah, SH., MH. (Professor of Civil and Business Law at Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, Yogyakarta) with the topic “Perspectives of Justice and Legal Certainty in the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers: West Nusa Tenggara as a Major Source Region of Migrant Workers.”
This activity served as an inspiring academic forum that enriched the insights of Master’s students in law while strengthening the synergy between legal theory and practice in the era of globalization and economic disruption. Through this expert lecture, it is expected that new ideas will emerge to strengthen the protection of migrant workers and to formulate labor law policies that are adaptive to the changing times.
