FH-USU Public Relations: Friday (04/10/2024), The Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), organized an entrepreneurship training event with the topic "Law Firm Management," held in the Faculty Advisory Council (DPF) room of FH USU. This entrepreneurship training, aimed at FH USU students, featured Dr. Andris, S.H., M.H., CRA., CLA., CLI., CPL., C.MED., an Advocate & Legal Consultant (PERADI), Curator & Administrator (HKPI), Liquidator (PPLI), Legal Auditor (ASAHI), Procurement Lawyer (APPI), and Non-Judge Mediator at the District Court. The training was opened by Vice Dean I, Dr. Agusmidah, S.H., M.Hum., and moderated by Lecturer/Expert Staff to the Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni Relations, Dr. Robert, S.H., M.Hum.
The speaker, Dr. Andris, S.H., M.H., CRA., CLA., CLI., CPL., C.MED, began his training by explaining the Technical Guidelines for the Implementation of Peradi Regulation No. 1 of 2006 regarding the internship for prospective advocates, the division of law firms into two types in the legal field, as well as tips and tricks on how to make a law firm well-known and easily attract clients. Dr. Andris also presented a comparison of legal services between business (commercial) and pro bono (free) work, and explained the various types of lawyer fee calculations. At the end of the training, Dr. Andris showcased several important documents related to the establishment of a law firm. The students from FH USU who participated in the training were then given the opportunity to engage in discussions and ask questions.
