The Doctoral Study Program (Prodi S3) of Law Science, Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), successfully held an Open Doctoral Promotion Examination. The event occurred in the Faculty Advisory Council (DPF) room

Public Relations FH-USU: Monday - Tuesday (06 - 07/12/2024)

The Doctoral Study Program (Prodi S3) of Law Science, Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara  (FH USU), successfully held an Open Doctoral Promotion Examination. The event occurred in the Faculty Advisory Council (DPF) room, FH USU Main Building, led by USU Vice Rector I, Prof. Dr. Edy Ikhsan, S.H., M.H., who acted as Session Chairman.

 

The promovendus and promovenda who were promoted to Doctoral degrees in the Open Examination for the Promotion of Doctor of Law Science at the beginning of 2025, as follows:

On the first day, Monday (06/01/2025),

 

  1. Hasrul Benny Harahap (NIM.208101008)) with the dissertation title “Business Judgment Rule and the Position of Mens Rea in the Enforcement of Corruption Crime on Business Decisions of Directors of BUMN Persero that Caused Losses”. Successfully earned a Doctorate degree with a GPA 3.95 and a Very Satisfactory predicate; 

     

  2. Nurhilmiyah (NIM.218101011) with the dissertation title “Legal Construction of Equitable Interest Charges on Online Loans”. Successfully earned a Doctoral degree with a GPA of 3.99 and a Very Satisfactory predicate;

     

  3. Martuasah Hermindo Tobing (NIM.208101012) with the dissertation title “The Intersection of Unlawful Acts in the Context of Business Competition and Corruption in the Case of Tender Rigging”. Successfully earned a Doctoral degree with a GPA of 3.95 and a Very Satisfactory predicate.

     

On the second day, Tuesday (07/01/2025),

 

  1. Finna Nazran (NIM.208101005) with the dissertation title “The Urgency of Setting the Precautionary Principle in Validating Information Technology-Based Parties' Documents as the Basis for Making Authentic Deeds for Legal Protection for Notaries in Carrying Out Their Duties”. Successfully earned a Doctorate degree with a GPA 3.91 and a Very Satisfactory predicate; 

     

  2. Alimuddin Sinurat (NIM.208101001) with the dissertation title “Policy for Combating Palm Oil Theft in the Environment of the Limited Liability Company Perkebunan Nusantara II (Study of Non Penal Law Enforcement Policy Through Corporate Social Responbility)”. Successfully earned a Doctoral degree with a GPA of 3.91 and a Very Satisfactory predicate; 

     

  3. Dahlia Kusuma Dewi (NIM.198101013) with the dissertation title “Application of the Ultimatum Remedium Principle in Environmental Law in Indonesia”. Successfully earned a Doctoral degree with a GPA of 3.95 and a very satisfying predicate.

 

The Open Dissertation Examination (Doctoral Promotion) of Law Science ended with congratulations and awards to the promovendus and promovenda.
