Public Relations FH-USU: Saturday-Sunday (9-10/03/2024), the Dean of the Faculty of Law of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH., M.Hum inaugurated the Management of the Master of Law Students Association of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (IMMILKUM FH USU) for the period 2024-2025, at The Hill Resort Sibolangit. Alamin Syahputra Pelis, Chairunnazri Harahap and Mutiara Cinta Nasution led IMMILKUM FH USU as general chairman, general secretary and general treasurer. Decree Number: 376/UN5.2.2.D/TPM/2024 on managing this student association was signed by Dean of FH USU Dr. Mahmul Siregar MHum on March 8, 2024.
The Dean of FH USU Dr. Mahmul Siregar SH, M.Hum who was present with the Secretary of the Master of Law Science study program, Dr. Mahmud Mulyadi SH, M.Hum, and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yamin (Professor of FH USU) and a number of lecturers expressed a sense of pride in IMMILKUM FH USU. The Dean of FH USU hopes for the cohesiveness of IMMILKUM FH USU together with the Dean's staff in serving all stakeholders, especially students. ''I am grateful that our extended family, IMMILKUM FH USU, is increasing,'' he said. The Dean revealed that the work program as an effort to think about the institution, students and society is an extraordinary glory. ''One year period, anything can be done. Including helping study programs, faculties and universities to improve the competence of IMMILKUM FH USU members who excel in academics and leadership by conducting extracurricular activities. ''We can work together, we will respond and study the aspirations conveyed by students so that our situation is better, the important thing is that it is conveyed in good ways,'' said Dr. Mahmul Siregar MHum.
In particular, the Chairperson of IMMILKUM FH USU strives for unemployed Master of Law students to get a job. ''Those who are already working, can be more qualified. Those who have become entrepreneurs will open more jobs,'' said the chairman, who is also the administrator of the conservation organization of the Association of Zoos in Indonesia. Using contemporary terms, Alamin Syahputra Pelis in his first speech as chairman emphasized that the organization he leads is not 'canned' so that it is ready to contribute significantly to realizing an advanced Indonesia. ''Upholding the law for the sake of the nation and state. If IMMILKUM FH USU has intervened, legal justice can be upheld,'' exclaimed the chairman who was immediately greeted enthusiastically by the inauguration invitation.
