Universitas Sumatera Utara hosted a Leadership Work Meeting attended by leaders from 15 recently inaugurated faculties. The meeting was conducted in a hybrid format, with online and in-person participation. The in-person session occurred at The Hill Hotels & Resort Sibolangit ballroom under stringent COVID-19 health guidelines.
Representing the Faculty of Law USU in person was Dean Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum., along with Vice Deans Dr. Agusmidah, S.H., M.Hum. (Vice Dean I), Puspa Melati Hasibuan, S.H., M.Hum. (Vice Dean II), and Dr. Mohammad Eka Putra, S.H., M.Hum. (Vice Dean III). The work meeting spanned two days, from Friday, May 21, to Saturday, May 22, 2021.
On the first day, the Rector delivered a welcoming address and keynote speech titled "USU's Transformation Towards Internationalization," followed by presentations from the Vice Rectors and the University Secretary.
The second day featured a series of coordination meetings:
The Rector held discussions with the Deans and the Director of the Graduate School.
Vice Rector I met with Vice Dean I, UMM, and UPP.
Vice Rectors II, IV, and V, along with the University Secretary, engaged with Vice Dean II.
Vice Rector III met with Vice Dean III, LP, and LPPM.
The event concluded with Deans and Vice Deans signing Integrity Pacts and Performance Agreements. A presentation by the USU Covid-19 Task Force highlighted preparations for the limited resumption of in-person lectures. (SD)
