FH-USU PUBLIC RELATIONS: Thursday (September 10, 2026), Chief Judge of the Medan High Court, Bambang Heri Mulyono, S.H., M.H., visited the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), to explore potential collaboration between the Medan High Court and the Faculty of Law USU in the field of the Three Pillars of Higher Education (Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi). The delegation was received by the Dean of the Faculty of Law USU, Prof. Dr. Ningrum Natasya Sirait, S.H., M.Li., along with Dr. Mohammad Ekaputra, S.H., M.Hum., and Dr. Robert, S.H., M.H., in the Dean’s Office, H. Anif Building, USU Campus.

During the meeting, the Chief Judge of the Medan High Court presented plans to develop the judicial capacity of judges within the jurisdiction of the High Court of North Sumatra, particularly in relation to the digitalization of judicial institutions. In response, the Faculty of Law USU, through Dr. Mohammad Ekaputra, S.H., M.Hum., proposed a public lecture on Environmental Law, in line with the area of expertise of the Chief Judge of the High Court of North Sumatra.

Both parties also agreed to hold a follow-up meeting in the near future with the Dean of the Faculty of Law USU to formally proceed with the proposed collaboration, including the signing of a cooperation agreement and further discussion of programs that could be jointly implemented by the Medan High Court and the Faculty of Law USU.
