Public Relations FH-USU: On Friday (06/10/2023)
The Dean of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU), Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH, M.Hum, gave certificates of appreciation to several FH USU Delegation Student Teams. This award certificate is a form of appreciation from FH USU for the achievements of several FH USU Delegation Student Teams that won several national-level competitions from May to September 2023.
In the span of the last 5 months, 8 FH USU Delegation Student Teams participated in various national-level competitions and won champions in various categories. The national-level competitions that were successfully won are as follows:
First place and Best Speaker in the APUPPT Legal Debate Competition between Universities in Indonesia in 2023 organized by the PPATK State Institution. FH USU delegates, Kemi Suranta Tarigan (200200061), Leonardo Petersen Agustinus Turnip (210200671), Martinus Demetrius Lature (210200688).
First place and Best Speaker in the Student Debate Competition in a series of the 1st Civic Law Scientific Fair of 2023 organized by the Student Association of the Department of Law and Citizenship, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. FH USU delegates, Natalie Wood Gultom (210200240), Rizky Ramadhan (210200274), Marco Fernaldy Leslie (210200079).
First place in the National Scientific Student Debate Competition, Universitas Pancasila 2023 organized by Universitas Pancasila. FH USU delegates, Hilda Monika (220200451), Aurora Demak Maria Simanjuntak (220200154), Marco Fernaldy Leslie (210200079).
1st place in Folksong Choir Competition category, 2nd place in Folksong Choir Championship category, 2nd place in Mixed Choir Competition category, and 3rd place in Mixed Choir Championship category in the 12th Bali International Choir Festival 2023 competition organized by Bandung Choral Society. FH USU delegates, Caroline Feryna Manik (200200154), Jhon Bryan Zico Tarihoran (200200227), Roy Kalpin Parulian Manalu (200200654), Tasya Sihombing (210200124), Ivana Vania Aruan (210200305).
1st Runner-up and Best Advocacy for Women and Street Children in the Putri Nusantara 2023 Competition organized by Mahakarya Duta Pesona Indonesia in collaboration with KEMENPAREKRAF.
Second place in the 2023 Mahaya Political Science Student Debate Competition organized by the UPN Veteran Jakarta Political Student Association. FH USU delegates, Almerdo Agsa Soroinama Hia (210200074), Meli Mariana Sitinjak (210200335), Marco Fernaldy Leslie (210200079).
Second place and best speaker in the Indonesian Law Debating Competition FH UI Cup Prof.Dr. Jimly Asshiddiqie, S.H. Year 2023 organized by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia Jakarta. FH USU delegates, Kemi Suranta Tarigan (200200061), Leonardo Petersen Agustinus Turnip (210200671), Martinus Demetrius Lature (210200688).
Third place in the Legal Debate Competition between Universities in Indonesia in 2023, organized by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS).
