HUMAS FH-USU: Friday, (23/02/2024), the Faculty of Law of Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU) in the framework of the 70th Anniversary again carried out Alumni Teaching activities with the theme "Challenges of the Legal Profession in Banking Operations", by presenting speakers Junaeidi D. Kamil, S.H., M.E., Dept. Head Legal Litigation PT BTN Tbk./Alumni 1989. The Alumni Teaching activity took place online guided by FH USU Lecturer, Dr. Syarifah Lisa Andriati, S.H., M.Hum who acted as moderator and FH USU student, Ari Ghazy Putra as Master of Ceremony.
This activity began with an opening followed by a report by the Seminar Team Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Hasim Purba, S.H., M.Hum, also attended by the Dean of FH USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.Hum and Deputy Seminar Team Coordinator Prof. Dr. Rosnidar, S.H., M.Hum. The Dean hopes that the alumni teaching can provide learning by experience to students who will become the milestone of the next generation of prospective law graduates in Indonesia.
The resource person in his presentation of material explained how the projections and future challenges that will be faced by legal experts, especially legal corporate if they enter the banking world. In conclusion, the legal profession has a crucial role in the banking business to mitigate potential bank losses due to legal problems.
