FH-USU Public Relations: On Saturday (27/01/2024), the Faculty of Law at Universitas Sumatera Utara (FH USU) held the Alumni Gathering event for the year 2024 with the theme "Faculty of Law USU Goes To Global." The event took place on the 2nd floor, room 18, at Santika Premiere Dyandra Hotel & Convention, Medan. This alumni meeting focused on discussing matters related to the role of alumni in supporting USU, especially FH USU, in connection with internationalization ranking programs."
Dean of FH USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH, M.Hum in his speech said "FH USU continues to strive to achieve international rankings, for this year FH USU is in the process of preparing for FIBAA international accreditation". The Dean hopes that through this meeting between FH USU and the alumni can consolidate each other in building the university ". The Chairman of IKA FH USU represented by the General Secretary of IKA FH USU, Akhmad Johari Damanik, SH, MH said "FH USU alumni will fully support the internationalization program and will continue to synergize with the alma mater.
The USU Chancellor, represented by the Internationalization Program Manager, Directorate of Internationalization and Global Partnership (Dit IKG) USU, Prof. Rikson Asman Fertiles Siburian, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D. in his remarks while opening the event said that the role of alumni is important in supporting universities, especially in international rankings. In his presentation, Prof. Rikson said that universities must always be able to get input from alumni to improve the education process including in international rankings.
