Alumni of the Faculty of Law USU Class of 1992 held their 30th Reunion, with the theme “Friends Throughout the Ages, Closer Friends”, from 28 - 30 October 2022. The reunion activities began with a friendly gathering at the Hall of the USU Faculty of Law Hall. Then, on the second and third days, the reunion activities continued at Pancur Gading Hotel and Resort, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra.
The chairman of the organizing committee, Muhammad Fauzi, said that the 30-year reunion of the Faculty of Law USU alumni cohort 1992 was a gathering place for friends from the past who were friendly until later, so let's stay united in diversity. The Dean of the Faculty of Law USU, Dr. Mahmul Siregar, SH, M.Hum, along with all the leadership of the Faculty of Law USU, congratulated the 30th reunion for all the best alumni of the Faculty of Law USU class of 1992. Dr. Mahmul said that he was proud to be part of the 1992 Faculty of Law USU alumni, for Dr. Mahmul being a 1992 alumni is one of the best parts of his life. It is time for us to gather again to remember the times of struggle and friendship that have been established, continue to be friends, continue to work, and never forget the alma mater that gave birth to us, Faculty of Law USU, said Dr. Mahmul Siregar.
The Chairperson of the USU Faculty of Law Alumni Association (IKA), Hasrul Benny Harahap, SH, M.Hum, who is also an alumnus of the 1992 batch, welcomed the 30th reunion activity this year. It's time for alumni to return to campus and synergize to raise our campus, said the USU Faculty of Law IKA Chairperson. Other Faculty of Law USU Stambuk 1992 alumni also expressed their congratulations and pride as alumni, including Rufina BR. Ginting (Chief State Attorney of Tanjungbalai Asahan), Rheinhard Sinaga, SH, M.Hum (Associate Diplomat, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia), Wahyudi, SH, M.Hum (Chief State Attorney of Pontianak), Sapta Putra, SH, M.Hum (Chief State Attorney of Bungo), Johny A Jebua, SH, MH (Chief State Attorney of Teluk Buntuni).
