The Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws at the International Islamic University Malaysia announces an upcoming guest lecture titled “Governing Digital Consumer Credit in Indonesia: Legal Developments and Protection of Vulnerable Borrowers.” Dr. Detania Sukarja will deliver the session from Universitas Sumatera Utara.
This lecture will explore the rapid expansion of digital consumer credit in Indonesia and the evolving legal framework designed to regulate digital lending services. Dr. Sukarja will highlight key legal developments, emerging regulatory challenges, and the importance of strengthening protections for vulnerable borrowers.
